Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Following our pick-ups this morning, we will travel to Belfast to board the 11:30hrs Stena Line ferry to Cairnryan. From Cairnryan, we’ll travel south making a quick comfort stop at Castle Douglas, if required, then swiftly continuing our journey to Gretna for a comfort stop. We’ll then join the motorway and travel down the M6 towards Lancaster where we’ll be staying at the 4-star Lancaster House Hotel. This lovely hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the Lake District and surrounding area. Our estimated time of arrival is 18.30hrs.

Day 2

Depart Hotel 10:00hrs

Our excursion today will take us to one of the nicest towns in the Lake District, Bowness on the beautiful Lake Windermere. Free Time. From Bowness we’ll retrace our journey and stop for free time in the market town of Kendal in the south of the Lake District. The town’s most famous export must be Kendal Mint Cake.

Day 3

Depart Hotel 10:00hrs

Our excursion today will take us through the Ribble Valley and the Pendle Hills to visit the little market town of Skipton. After free time at the market, we’ll travel to the popular shopping outlet centre of Boundary Mills which is near Colne. It is filled with famous brands of goods at outlet prices, & has various departments including clothing and household items. A restaurant is also on site for visitors convenience. Time to “shop till you drop”

Day 4

Depart Hotel 10:30hrs

Today, we’ll take a short drive from our hotel to visit the exceptional Barton Grange Garden Centre. Here we will have time to browse and enjoy the presentation of goods on display. We’ll then walk down to the canal jetty for a short canal cruise.

Day 5

Depart Hotel 09:00hrs

It’s time to begin the journey home. We will travel North towards Cairnryan, making a comfort as we cross the border into Scotland, at Gretna where we can shop for any last-minute gifts. Moving on then, to Cairnryan, we will be checking in for the 15:30hrs ferry to Belfast and all to soon it will be time to say our good-byes.
