Day 1:
Belfast - Pitlochry
Following our pick-ups this morning we will proceed to Belfast to check-in for the 07.30hrs Stena crossing to Cairnryan. From Cairnryan we will travel towards Stirling where we will make a lunchtime stop. Free time. We then move swiftly on travelling across the A9 and making our way on to Pitlochry. Our estimated time of arrival at Fishers Hotel is 17:00hrs. Time to settle in before our first evening meal together.
Day 2:
Balmoral Estate
Our excursion today will take us toward the Royal family retreat. Balmoral estate is nestled in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and has been the cherished home of the British Royal Family since 1852. Free time to admire the castle and grounds and immerse yourself in the estate’s natural beauty.
Day 3:
Glamis Castle
Our excursion today will take us to Glamis Castle. It is situated beside the village of Glamis in Angus, Scotland, which is North of Dundee. This beautiful castle dates back to Mary Queen of Scots and has a deep connection to the Royal Family. It was formerly the childhood home of the Late Queen's mother - Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. Free time to explore this majestic castle and gardens, and marvel at the splendour.
Day 4:
Aviemore & Strathspey Rail Journey
A leisurely start to today as our excursion will depart mid-morning. We will be travelling up to Aviemore where we will transfer to another type of coach for a wonderful scenic rail journey on the Strathspey Steam Train. This relaxed scenic journey takes in the village of Boat of Garten, a well-known spot for bird watchers and nature lovers, and through the beautiful countryside to Broomhill. (Included in tour price) The return train journey lasts approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes, after which we return to our hotel.
Day 5:
Homeward Bound
All too soon it is time to say our ‘good-byes.’ As we begin our journey home, we will retrace our steps along the A77 towards Ayr where we will have a comfort break. Continuing south we will make a further stop, time permitting, in the traditional town of Girvan. Refreshed and ready to move on, we will proceed to Cairnryan where we must check in for the 15:30hrs ferry home to Belfast.
NB: These tours are booked many months in advance so days may have to be swapped around to facilitate admission into Balmoral Estate.

Our Hotel
