Day
1

Following our pick-ups this morning, we will travel to Belfast to board the 07:30hrs Stena Line ferry to Cairnryan. From Cairnryan, we’ll travel south making a comfort stop at Castle Douglas, and continue our journey across the border into England to the town of Penrith. We’ll have some free time here. We’ll continue down the M6 towards the Garstang area of Preston where we’ll be staying at the Barton Manor Hotel. Our expected time of arrival is approximately 16.30 hrs.

2

Depart Hotel 10:00hrs
Our excursion today will take us to visit Kendal & Bowness on Windermere, two of the favourite destinations within the Lake District. You’ll have some free time in both venues.

3

Depart Hotel 10:00hrs
Our excursion today will take us up through the Ribble Valley and the Pendle Hills to visit the little market town of Skipton where we’ll have some free time.
We’ll then travel to the shopping outlet centre at Colne – Boundary Mills, which is filled with famous brands at outlet prices and has the departments and dining experiences you’ll enjoy.
Then it’s time to head back to our hotel.

4

Depart Hotel 10:00hrs
Our excursion today will take us to the seaside town of Morecambe for free time. Morecambe enjoys fine views from its promenade of a magnificent bay looking across to the Lakeland mountains. Don’t forget to take a walk along the promenade to see the Eric Morecambe statue standing in his famous pose. If you’re in the mood for shopping you’ll find a mix of quirky, independent shops, boutique stores and gift shops and of-course in the centre of town you’ll find the usual high street shopping.

Depart Hotel 09:00hrs
It’s time to begin the journey home. We will travel North towards Cairnryan making a comfort as we cross the border into Scotland, at the Gretna Tourist Centre. Here you can also shop for any last-minute gifts. Moving on then, to Cairnryan where we will be checking in for the 15:30hrs ferry to Belfast and time to say our good-byes.
