Christmas is a Magical time for young and old alike. We all remember the excitement at the idea of a Santa visit. Despite our years, we love to recall the Joy of the festive season. Here at the beautiful Chatsworth House the wonder of Christmas is brought to the fore as 24 rooms are adorned for an ‘Advent Christmas Experience’. And that’s not all, the decorating extends out to the grounds, with light displays, an animated light show, and much more.

Day 1

Following our pick-ups this morning we will travel to the Stena Terminal for the 07:30hrs ferry crossing to Cairnryan. We’ll travel south towards Gretna where we’ll have a lunch time break before we move on to the M6 motorway. We'll continue our journey south towards Cheshire making further comfort stops at service areas. Our estimated time of arrival at our hotel is 17:30hrs giving us time to settle in before dinner. Warner Hotels are renowned for their daily activities and evenings of entertainment. So it's time now to relax and enjoy.

Day 2

Depart Hotel 09:30hrs
Our excursion today will take us first of all to the popular Peak District town of Bakewell, home of the Bakewell Tart. Bakewell is an attractive town on the River Wye, with courtyards, independent shops & cafés. We’ll then depart and travel the short distance to Chatsworth House, one of Britain’s best loved historic houses. This magnificent house and estate is set in the landscape of Derbyshire’s Peak District National Park. There are also miles of walks for the energetic visitors. (Admission to house/gardens included).

Day 3

Depart Hotel 10:00hrs
Our excursion today will take us to the lovely ancient city of Chester. It has the most complete city walls, the oldest racecourse and 700 year old unique shopping rows. Please be sure to wear comfortable footware for your free time to enjoy all the city has to offer. We’ll then move on for free time to shop at the popular Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, where you can shop til you drop.

Day 5

Depart Hotel 09:30hrs
It's time to say our fond farewells as we begin the journey home. We'll travel west across on the M56 through North Wales and make a comfort stop at James Pringle Weavers of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll. We must then continue our journey toward the port of Holyhead. We'll be checking in for the 14:45hrs ferry across to Dublin (3.25 hrs.) From Dublin we will travel North making a short comfort stop at the Applegreen Services (euros). And then its time for the last stages of our journey together as we continue North and to our first drop-off point.
