Day 1
We’ll leave Newtownards and travel via other scheduled pick-up points, moving north towards the county of Londonderry. We’ll have a short comfort stop en-route followed by a lunchtime stop at the Foyleside Shopping Centre where toilet and restaurant facilities are easily available. Time then to continue our journey to the North East of Donegal, an isolated corner, waiting to be explored. We can relax and enjoy the views from the comfort of our coach as we approach our hotel. Our estimated time of arrival is 16:00 hrs. Time to settle in before our evening meal together.
Day 2
Depart Hotel: 10:00
Very much depending on the weather, we are hoping to have a scenic tour of part of the Inishowen Peninsula. It is infamous as the ‘beginning or the end’ - of the 1600-mile coastal route ‘The Wild Atlantic Way’, which runs all the way down to the County of Cork. If the weather holds, we will see the Peninsula in its winter glory - rugged and wild, lovely to view from the comfort of the nice warm coach.
Day 3
Depart Hotel: 10:00
Today again our journey will depend on the weather, as the narrow twisty roads in this region can be quite treacherous. Our plan is to head for a visit to Letterkenny where there will be free time to explore the variety of shops and internationally known stores, together with local arts and crafts.
Day 4
Depart Hotel: 10:00
Now the cobwebs have all been blown away and our batteries recharged it is time to head home. We’ll travel toward Belfast via the Glenshane Pass, making time for comfort stops. We’ll then
continue the last stage of our journey, and it is time to say our fond farewells as we reach Belfast and begin our drop-offs.
NB
Your driver will confirm/amend departure times as necessary for the duration of the tour.
