The Edinburgh Military Tattoo is set against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. Each year it brings together a host of international performers, military & civilian, from over 48 countries. Music, dance, precision displays and Military bands, not forgetting the poignant refrain of the Lone Piper all feature in what can only be described as one of the greatest shows on earth.

Day 1:
Belfast to Glasgow
Following our pick-up this morning, we will travel to Belfast for the 11:30hrs Stena ferry to Cairnryan. We will travel towards Ayr where we will have a comfort break, before the next stage of our journey. We will continue our journey to Stepps, Glasgow where we will check-in to the 3 star-Best Western Garfield House Hotel, where we will be accommodated for our two night stay.

Day 2:
Edinburgh
It will be a long day , so we recommend comfortable shoes.
We will travel into Edinburgh where we will be free to enjoy the ‘fringe festival’ at leisure. Plenty of time to enjoy Edinburgh and the festival at your own pace. Dinner is not included tonight which allows passengers to choose from the various eateries in Edinburgh City Centre. NB: Please note that vehicles are not allowed near the castle and you will have to walk up The Royal Mile to the Castle Esplanade. This venue may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties, or limited mobility. Please listen to our driver as he gives instructions of where to meet the coach after the how.
Day 3:
Homeward Bound
After our leisurely breakfast it is time to begin our journey home. We will retrace our journey to Cairnryan, making a comfort stop en route. We will be checking-in for the 15:30hrs ferry from Cairnryan back to Belfast. And as we reflect on our Tattoo experience, it is time to say our good-byes.
NB: Your driver will confirm/ amend departure times as necessary for the duration of the tour.
