Llangollen
Day 1
Following our pick-ups this morning we will travel south towards Dublin, making a short stop at the Applegreen Services (Euros recommended). We will continue our journey to Dublin Port where we must check in for the 14:45hrs Stena ferry to Holyhead North Wales. This crossing takes approximately 3½ hrs after which we will move swiftly on to our destination for an expected time of arrival at the Tynedale Hotel of approximately 20:00hrs. We’ll be staying at the centrally located 3-star Tynedale Hotel on Llandudno's iconic Victorian promenade. A lovely location for our holiday.
Day 2
Depart Hotel 10:00hrs
Our excursion today will take us to the picturesque village of Betws-y-coed which is set in a beautiful valley in the Snowdonia Forest Park. We'll have a short break here before moving on to the popular
town of Llanberis – home of Llanberis Lake Railway. We'll be joining an hour long scenic ride on the five-mile return steam train journey. (Included in price). There will be a short stop at Cei Llydan, a beautiful & tranquil place, and then at Gilfach Ddu, where you can visit the National Slate Museum, watch the driver stoking the fire, the engine taking water, or spend time in the gift shop/cafe.
Day 3
Depart Hotel 10:00hrs
Today our excursion will take us to the popular tourist destination of Llangollen in North East Wales, which is set on a stretch of the Dee Valley. As we approach we will see views of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Trains, monuments & Castell Dinas Bran -the medieval castle which is rumoured to have links with the legend of King Arthur are all points of interest in Llangollen. Here we will have free time to explore.

Depart Hotel 11:00 hrs
Today we must say our good-byes as it is time to begin the journey home. We will travel to Holyhead where we will check in for the 14:45hrs ferry to Dublin Port. We’ll then begin our journey north making a short comfort stop at the Applegreen Services before commencing on the last stage of our journey north together.

Our hotel is the centrally located 4* Tynedale situated on Llandudnos iconic Victorian promenade. Just 20 metres from the beach and a short walk from the high street and the pier.
