Wexford & Waterford

Day 1:

Following our pick-ups this morning, we 'll begin our journey south. With comfort stops en route, most of our journey will be along the M1 & N11 motorways. We will travel as far as the little town of Arklow where we will have a lunchtime break. Continuing south we make an afternoon stop, dependant on traffic, before the final stages of our journey to Wexford. We are estimated to arrive at our hotel at approximately 17:00hrs and it is time to relax and enjoy our quiet break.

Day 2:

Depart Hotel 10:00hrs
Our first visit today will take us to the oldest operating lighthouse in the world - Hook Head Lighthouse. This iconic 800-year-old lighthouse boasts wonderful uninterrupted views across the Atlantic Coast and is well worth a visit. From here we will travel into Wexford Town where we will have free time.

Day 3:

Depart Hotel 10:00hrs
First today we will travel to the seaside town of Tramore. Nothing quite like a stroll along the promenade and an ice cream when on holiday! We'll then travel the short distance into the oldest city in Ireland - Waterford. This vibrant city has the perfect blend of ancient and modern, from beautiful architecture to quirky shops - something for everyone. Free time.

Day 4:

Day 5:

Depart Hotel 10:00 hrs
Time to begin our journey home. We will travel north moving along the N11 towards Enniscorthy. We will then move inland on to the N80 & travel up to the highly recommended Visitor Centre of Newbridge Silverware where we will have a lunchtime break. Restaurant and toilet facilities available here. From here we will continue North moving up to Castlebellingham's Applegreen Services for a comfort stop before the last leg of our journey homeward bound.
